BD 228 Water-Based Alkali-Resistant Sealing Exterior & Interior Primer is a high-performance functional seal coating engineered to serve as the critical foundation layer in modern architectural coating systems. Formulated with advanced water-borne acrylic synthetic resins, it delivers outstanding alkali resistance, deep substrate sealing, and moisture-barrier protection for concrete, plaster, and masonry surfaces.
Designed for both exterior and interior commercial applications, BD 228 deeply penetrates porous wall substrates to effectively block moisture, soluble salts, and active alkaline migration. Construction Process
- Keep the base solid and flat without hollowing or cracks; polish and remove dust;
- Apply interface agent for sealing;
- Apply two coats of micro cement main material and polish layer by layer for leveling;
- Apply special protective top coat after full drying and curing for forming.
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store dry powder component sealed and dry to prevent moisture;
- Store emulsion component in a cool and dark place;
- Store at normal temperature;
- Unopened shelf life: 12 months.
