BD 329 High-Adhesion Anti-Corrosion Steel Structure Industrial Coating is a heavy-duty protective coating system engineered specifically for high-exposure steel infrastructure and industrial equipment. Formulated for both primer and topcoat applications, it establishes a high-bonding protective shield against severe atmospheric degradation, chemical splash, and moisture penetration.

Designed for bridge structures, marine docks, industrial steel doors and windows, heavy machinery, and precision instruments, BD 329 combines rapid drying times with exceptional leveling and high-gloss aesthetics. It delivers superior resistance to acids, alkalis, and salt spray, drastically reducing corrosion-related maintenance costs and extending asset service life across demanding engineering projects.

Exceptional Acid, Alkali & Salt Spray Resistance

Specially formulated to withstand aggressive industrial chemicals and marine salt fog, preventing steel oxidation, rust creep, and structural degradation.

Dual-Layer System Versatility

Functions seamlessly as a rust-inhibiting primer with high-bond adhesion, or as a high-gloss, wear-resistant topcoat that Seals and beautifies structural steel.

Fast-Drying & Self-Leveling Efficiency

Formulated with excellent flow and quick drying characteristics to streamline shop fabrication and field maintenance, optimizing project throughput.

High Adhesion & Superior Wear Resistance

Bonds tightly to sandblasted or power-tool-cleaned steel substrates, resisting physical abrasion, impact damage, and surface scratching.

Construction Process

  1. Substrate treatment: thoroughly remove impurities such as rust, scale, oil, dust and old coatings on the surface of industrial substrates. Metal substrates need to be derusted to Sa2.5 or St3 level, and concrete substrates need to be polished flat and cracks repaired to ensure the substrate surface is dry, clean and firm;
  2. Material preparation: fully stir evenly after opening the package, add an appropriate amount of pure water for dilution (dilution ratio not exceeding 10%) according to construction needs, stir evenly again after dilution, and use after standing for 5 minutes;
  3. Construction method: various construction methods such as brushing, roller coating, air spraying and airless spraying are available. During spraying, adjust the spray gun pressure and distance to ensure uniform coating;
  4. Layered construction: construct in two layers of primer and top coat, apply 1 coat of primer, and apply 2 coats of top coat after full drying (interval 6-8h), with an interval of 4-6h between each top coat. The conventional dry film thickness of primer ≥30μm, top coat ≥60μm, and total dry film thickness ≥90μm;
  5. Curing requirements: after construction, cure at normal temperature for more than 24 hours before putting into use. Extend the curing time in low-temperatureand humid environments, and avoid impact, scratch and rain immersion on the coating during curing

Storage & Shelf Life

  • Seal and store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, keep away from fire sources, heat sources and acid-base corrosive media, avoid direct sunlight, freezing and rain;
  • Control the storage temperature at 5℃-35℃, strictly prohibit storage below 0℃ to prevent the coating from freezing and deteriorating;
  • Store separately to avoid mixing with oil-based coatings and organic solvents;
  • The unopened original product has a shelf life of 12 months under the storage conditions

Notes

  • The construction environment temperature should be controlled at 5℃-35℃, and the environmental humidity ≤85%.
  • Construction is prohibited in rainy, snowy, windy and dusty weather;
  • The substrate surface must be cleaned thoroughly, otherwise the adhesion and protective effect of the coating will be affected;
  • Only pure water can be used for coating dilution, and organic solvents such as gasoline and banana water are strictly prohibited for dilution;
  • Special construction tools are required, which should be cleaned with clean water in time after use to avoid mixing with oil-based coatings;
  • Construction personnel can wear protective gloves, masks and other protective equipment during construction to ensure construction safety;
  • Before the coating is fully cured, do not carry, install, impact or perform other operations on the substrate;
  • The product should be used up as soon as possible after opening, and the remaining coating should be sealed tightly to prevent moisture and pollution.
