BD 328 Eco-Friendly Protective Powder Coating for Electrostatic Spray is an advanced, 100% solid-content dry finishing system engineered without organic solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Designed for high-efficiency electrostatic spray application and thermal or UV curing, it fuses into a tough, seamless protective film over metal substrates, structural steel, auto parts, and engineered wood (MDF).
Ideal for commercial equipment, architectural metalwork, steel furniture, and industrial machinery tenders, BD 328 combines zero-environmental-pollution compliance with superior production efficiency. It delivers exceptional edge coverage, non-sag thick film application, and long-term defense against chemical exposure, salt spray, and atmospheric weathering.
100% Solid & Zero-VOC Eco-Profile
Formulated completely solvent-free, eliminating health risks for application crews and meeting strict international environmental regulations while enabling powder recyclability.
Superior Corrosion & Salt Spray Defense
Provides exceptional salt spray endurance, chemical resistance, and UV protection, safeguarding metal components against rust, fading, and outdoor degradation.
Optimized for Electrostatic Application
Engineered for high-efficiency electrostatic spray deposition, ensuring uniform film build on complex geometric shapes without runs, sags, or edge-beading.
Versatile Decorative Finishes & Substrates
Compatible with steel, aluminum, and MDF substrates, available in a wide range of custom effects including metallic, chrome, wood grain, and textured finishes.

Substrate Requirements
Applicable substrates: Cold-rolled steel, galvanized sheet, aluminum alloy, cast iron, and otherindoor metal substrates;the substrate must undergo degreasing, rust removal, phosphating/p ассивation treatment, with a clean surface free from oil stains, oxide scales, dust, or impurities, and a surface roughness controlled within 20–50 μm to ensure adequate paint adhesion.
Spraying Equipment and Parameters
Construction method: Electrostatic powder coating (using manual/or automatic electrostatic powder sprayers)
| Construction Parameters | Standard Value |
| Spraying Voltage | 60~80KV |
| Spraying Current | 15~25μA |
| Admission pressure | 0.3~0.5MPa |
| Gun distance to workpiece | 15~25cm |
| Standard film thickness | 60–90 μm (standard thickness for indoor use) |
Curing Process (Standard Operating Conditions)
| Curing temperature (workpiece surface temperature) | Curing time |
| 180℃ | 15~20min |
| 190℃ | 12~15min |
| 200℃ | 8~10min |
Important Note: Ensure uniform and stable furnace temperature, based on the actual surface temperature of the workpiece.Avoid insufficient temperature causing incomplete curing,or excessively high temperature leading to yellowing and cracking of the paint film.
